At EnterEdge, I played a key role in optimizing, re-architecting, and maintaining the network infrastructure for a large financial institution. The network environment was primarily built on Juniper equipment, including routers, switches, and firewalls, which I worked with extensively to enhance performance, security, and reliability. I focused on improving network efficiency by implementing best practices in design and optimization.
My responsibilities included working with various routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and static routing to ensure optimal routing and load balancing across the network. I was also involved in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, maintaining seamless communication between multiple systems, and ensuring the security of sensitive financial data by configuring robust firewall policies.
Additionally, I collaborated with the client’s internal teams to align the network infrastructure with their business goals and future scalability needs. This experience not only strengthened my skills in network architecture and routing protocols but also deepened my knowledge of maintaining high-availability, secure networks in the financial services industry.
